I’m an old hotrod guy with knee problems. I was in the market/interested in building a Model A Roadster, went to Barrett Jackson Auction and checking out my next project, realized I would have problems with a car with little leg room. I saw a pure stock finished MGB there that caught my eye and was taken by what the car had to offer as a hot rod project which included leg room. I have built two MGB/Chevy conversions to date. I get more attention at the car shows with my B than the Cobra’s, Vettes, etc. because most people can’t imagine this conversion can be done in this small car at a very small out of pocket cost and look like a factory muscle car option. I love my “B”, I call it a cheap man’s Corvette.
