Scott Hagen & his '77 MGB

I bought this project car from a friend who had it for more than 7 years and never had it running. I did not know much about British cars, how much they are a labor of love, and began pouring hours into the car. After many months of working on the car, soliciting neighbors, professional mechanics, a couple outside service companies and many exact replacement parts from VB, I got the car running and were able to run around the neighborhood with the top down. This is a photo of my son sitting in the car where we drove it to the park one sunny day a few years ago. With all the challenges of life, new homes, additions to my flock of children and diminishing space, I have had to part with this fun little car. Maybe in the future I will find myself another British car to bring back to life.
