The Tiger was purchased new by my parents in late 1964 from a dealership in southern California. It was used as a daily driver for many years. My father was in the process of refurbishing the Tiger when he became ill and passed away. My mother thought the Tiger was too powerful for her to handle, so she reluctantly passed it on to me.
I continued with the restoration and as of today I believe the car is 90% complete. As you can tell from the pictures, especially the wheels, the car is not totally original or stock. My father had punched the original 260 out to 301, with other "goodies" added to the engine. It truly is quick and gets much attention wherever it is driven.
