My husband Scott had acquired a 1972 MGB that he decided to modify into a street rod, whereas I wanted a car we could take on nice country drives. I prefer classic cars that we could restore ourselves to their original beauty.
For my birthday my husband decided to find me my own MGB as I really loved the look of them. When he searched online he found one for sale just down the street from his shop. Ironically it was listed by a gentleman that owned the body shop we do business with. So my husband made a offer and they accepted it.
Over the winter we slowly started restoring the car. We were told that it only had 18k original miles on it, so after some engine work and some good gas, it started. We then started on the interior, rebuilt the seats, added new carpet, and did some small trim work. There are still a few more things we would like to do to it, but I love my B.
