I started my automotive career working on exotic cars and always liked British cars. I’m 62 now and my Harley riding days are behind me but not my desire to have my hair in the wind. I started searching around for a TR6 but couldn’t find one that wasn’t a basket case in my budget. As I was searching I stumbled upon this car an it looked in pretty good shape so I bought it and quickly found there was a lot to do under the bonnet to get it more reliable. I installed a Webber carb and manifold kit, a bedder and Monza exhaust for starters. Made a huge difference. I then put on a electronic distributor kit and a full interior carpet kit. I also rebuilt the front suspension, steering gear and shocks. I still need to install the convertible top boot but I’m pretty much done for now. I thought I had a picture of the aluminum valve cove I put on, but I can’t find it. I took the tin cover off and the new one dresses it up nicely I love driving it on the back roads on a nice day!
